Figure and Ground - Shatter

This is my prototype for figure and ground. The design is a pattern and series of black triangles. A triangle was drawn in the middle and from it other triangles were built off of it. Then the triangles were colored black. The triangles cover the entire design with different sizes as well as different shapes of a triangle. There isn't one triangle that's exactly like another triangle. The lines of the triangles are crisp and clean. The design is very sharp and looks like broken glass. When you look at the design you might see the black triangles as the figure and the white cracks as the ground or you might see the reverse and see the white cracks as the figure and the black triangles as the ground.
