Olympic Hometown Logo

This was a project about making a logo for the Olympics if the Olympics were to be in our town. I live in the city Grapevine, Texas. Grapevine prides itself in preserving its history. Main street has buildings that are like the shape used in the logo. The accents on the text represent how Grapevine is known as the Christmas Capital of Texas. The text was chosen to suit the style and accents of the buildings. The green vines are to represent grapes as we're known for our wine. I didn't want to just do the obvious and use grapes as part of the logo as one might expect. I wanted it to represent the history and city as a whole.
